THE THUNDER COMES the thunder comes and then the lightning the rain gates are opened wide the rain falls upon this earth to help the grass grow the thunder claps with great applause and the lightning lights up the sky like the forth of july and the rain washes away all the bad of the day tomorrow comes with chirping birds and the sun rises above the cloud a light breeze carries the hot air balloon over the mountain with this new day can we say i will make it better than yesterday? cj Other Poems |
