	the words elude me

	the way im feeling now 

	as black and dejected 

	as poe when visited by 

	a raven ranting nevermore 

	as small as ee cummings 

	without large letters to 

	signify importance 

	yes ive pondered my 

	midnight dreries but unlike 

	millie molly and mae my 

	beaches go unvisited 

	no sideway crawling creatures 

	to fascinate me today 

	no lenore to haunt my 

	memory
